Youth Programs

Our youth are our future. Our programing is carefully designed to provide our children with a positive Jewish experience, laying the foundation for a bright Jewish tomorrow.

Hebrew School

Wednesdays | 4:30PM - 6:30PM

The richness and beauty of our Jewish traditions come to life in Hebrew School. Our dynamic programs are created to educate, stimulate and excite the children. We believe that a child's Jewish learning must be creative, memorable and fun. Our top priority is to create an interactive learning environment in which each child feels welcome and motivated.

Hebrew School is for children age 5 (Kindergarten) and up.

DATES AND TIMES VARY

$360/child (family rates available)

Bat Mitzvah Club empowers young Jewish girls to become strong, smart, and spiritual individuals who understand that there’s more to a Bat Mitzvah than just a party.

Our BMC meetings cover ‘tween topics and are filled with activities that guide girls into adulthood with grace, G-d and giggles.

BMC girls will learn to become authentic, more considerate, empathic, and generous. The meetings are loaded with friends, food and fun.

Bar Mitzvah Discovery Course

As boys approach the age of Bar Mitzvah (6th & 7th grade), we provide a course covering the meaning behind the various rituals and customs connected to this life cycle event.  Students learn the 13 principles of faith, great Jewish leaders, special Mitzvot, and much more.

Bar Mitzvah Private Training

We also offer private, one-on-one training. A schedule will be created that works for your family, usually meeting once a week. This includes:

  • Individual instruction on the Hebrew reading of the Torah/Haftarah portion

  • Preparation of any prayers connected with the ceremony

  • Assistance with writing their speech, learning the meaning of their Torah portion

 Jewish Birthday Club

A Jewish birthday is a significant event in your child’s life and we want to help remind you when it is. Far from considering it incidental, Jewish tradition regards one’s Jewish birthday to be fraught with meaning and relevance and, in some ways, even a mini-Rosh Hashanah! Please let us know your child’s birthday (if you don’t know the Hebrew date please enter the secular date and we’ll convert it to the Hebrew) and we’ll:

  • Post it to the Chabad Online Events Calendar

  • Send your child a Happy Birthday Card

  • Send a special birthday gift to your child
